1. All pets residing within the Denton Record-Chronicle's delivery area are eligible.
2. Deadline to enter your pet(s) is Wednesday, May 22, 2013.
3. Cost is $12 for one pet per photo, $15 for two pets per photo and $18 for 3 pets per photo. All pets entered will be featured in the Denton Record-Chronicle’s Cats & Dogs and other pets, too! special section that will be published on Friday, June 7.
4. You may submit up to three photos per pet for the special section, but the pet will be entered into the contest only one time.
5. The Denton Record-Chronicle reserves the right to crop submitted photo. Please look at the entry example on the Welcome page and take note of the orientation of the picture for best reproduction of your photo.
6. One pet will be randomly selected as the Grand Prize Winner and will receive a gift package and will also receive a portrait session with Jenny Froh Photography, as well as an 8x10 wall portrait. This includes time and talent as well as the editing and processing of images. Portrait session is for the winning pet only. One portrait from the session will be featured on the cover of Cats & Dogs and other pets, too! special section. In addition, a fun short story will be written and included in the special section.
7. Two additional pets will be randomly selected to win a gift package and will also receive a portrait session with Jenny Froh Photography, as well as an 5x7 wall portrait. This includes time and talent as well as the editing and processing of images. Portrait session is for the runners-up only. The runners-up will be featured inside of Cats & Dogs and other pets, too! special section. In addition, a fun short story will be written and included in the special section.
8. Grand Prize Winner must be available for their photo session to take place between Friday, May 24, 2013 and Monday, June 3, 2013. If the pet is unavailable during this time, that pet will forfeit his/her prize and another pet will be chosen.
9. Pets of Denton Record-Chronilce employees are not eligible to be entered into the contest, but can be published in the special section.
10. Denton Record-Chronicle reserves the right to change the rules at any time.
